Aumery means: A form of Ambry, a closet; but confused with Almonry, as if a place for alms.
Bloomery means: A furnace and forge in which wrought iron in the form of blooms is made directly from the ore, or (more rarely) from cast iron.

Creamery means: A place where butter and cheese are made, or where milk and cream are put up in cans for market.

Zymosimeter means: An instrument for ascertaining the degree of fermentation occasioned by the mixture of different liquids, and the degree of heat which they acquire in fermentation.
