Hornwork means: An outwork composed of two demibastions joined by a curtain. It is connected with the works in rear by long wings.
Housework means: The work belonging to housekeeping; especially, kitchen work, sweeping, scrubbing, bed making, and the like.
Hurdlework means: Work after manner of a hurdle.
Interworking means: The act of working in together; interweaving.
Inwork means: To work in or within.
Ironwork means: Anything made of iron; -- a general name of such parts or pieces of a building, vessel, carriage, etc., as consist of iron.
